Do I need to coordinate with Reffy to add new dfn types?

Question from title: if I add a new data-dfn-type value, will that require coordination with y'all for any reason, or will the value just get extracted and presented in the data files with its given type?

(Context is speced/bikeshed#1179, which to properly fix requires me adding some new idl-* dfn type.)

So, we need to know because Reffy currently filters out definition types it does not know anything about. Looking at history, we did that to address #658 where you had reported bumping into invalid types. I wouldn't mind dropping the check in the crawler if Bikeshed no longer cares about bogus/unknown types?

More generally speaking, converging on dfn types was the purpose of working on the Definitions contract document, which hasn't really led to anything so far. It would still seem a good to at least signal new additions to the spec-prod mailing-list to inform ReSpec and Wattsi communities?

Yup, I'm fine with coordinating, I just wanted to verify it was indeed needed.

I'm fine with filtering dfns at either point (in Bikeshed or upstream in Reffy).

And lol, I completely forgot about #658.

Dang, looks like I never accepted the collab request on that repo. I'll help fill that in the rest of the way.
